  • Be responsible for the planning and execution of the RoadMotion Cloud Software on time and within the allocated budget
    • Manage all program timing per internal and external milestones
    • Ensure compliance with internal gate process
    • Manage and control the project budget
    • Manage resource allocation at the program level
    • Drive alignment and accountability between groups
    • Track and manage risks at the program level
    • Own the business case for the product through SOP
    • Escalate issues that may impact the overall program goals and deliverables
    • Prepare and present weekly progress reports
  • Strong collaboration with Product Management to identify new business opportunities and develop business cases, proposals, etc.
  • Work with other PMO team members in support of company-wide process improvements
    • Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the organization and work with other PMO team members to develop, implement, and facilitate new processes
    • Share lessons learned with the project team and the PMO group
  • Oversee and manage cross functional teams 
    • Promote frequent team communication in an open environment
    • Drive a sense of ownership and accountability among team members
    • Adapt to different styles between team members; be flexible and open to changing priorities as new information is received and analyzed

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • The ideal candidate has a well-rounded technical & business background, strong leadership experience, takes initiative and ownership and is able to lead teams through influence and motivation
  • Location: US, EST time zone preferred; UK time zone acceptable
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or science
  • Cloud software full development lifecycle experience required
    • Experience with agile software development methodologies 
    • Experience with introduction of software products into the market
    • Deep understanding of infrastructure needed to release, maintain, and update SW products
  • 5-10 years of experience in Program Management required
  • Proven record of being able to effectively drive change and lead groups or entire organizations
  • Ability to direct, create, and execute detailed work plans in an environment of constant change
  • Orientation toward building processes, tools, and frameworks when none exist; focused on continually improving team effectiveness
  • Able to manage and influence others constructively; able to build relationships of mutual respect and trust; high IQ and EQ
  • Highly organized with proven project management skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills


Preferable Qualifications & Experience 

  • Automotive software experience a plus
  • MS or MBA is a plus
