•Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
•Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
•Ensure office is clean, functional and organized
•Make ready all spaces as needed
•Provide janitorial support as needed, including removal, emptying and disposal of garbage
•Remove, breakdown and properly dispose of recyclables
•Run errands to pick-up stock and materials
•Assist cleaning contractor to ensure tasks are properly performed
•Assist with reorganization of different spaces
•Act as onsite contact for various facilities vendors
•Coordinate outside service providers as required
•Assist with assembling and/or relocation of workstations and equipment
•Organize/clean kitchen area as needed
•Ship/mail items as required
•Assist with set-up and breakdown of corporate events, onsite and offsite
•Continuous Machine area 5S
•Use of hand tools, bench grinders, buffing wheels and tumbling equipment as necessary
•Safe transportation of Machine components to vendors and or other sites.
•Impeccable organizational and cleanliness skills
•Sweeping, mopping floors as needed
•Metal chip collection management
•Other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Self-motivated, can-do attitude & flexible schedule.
- Must have impeccable organizational skills.
- Ability to work on a variety of different tasks and change direction on tasks throughout the day as necessary
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to drive/operate a small box truck.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 80 pounds. For example:
- Strong familiarity with desk set-ups and computers including the installation of monitor arms and office furniture assembly.
- Basic computer skills e.g. Email usage
Preferable Qualifications & Experience
- Prefer 5S experience, we will provide training.
- Previous experience with forklift operation preferred, we will provide training.
- Preferred degree in trade school or technical school. Examples may include, carpentry, electrical, computers, lighting, machine shop or HVAC.
