Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of the system HIL rig to ensure robust system requirements verification
  • Work with the system design team to generate test specifications for system requirements including ISO26262 functional safety and cybersecurity
  • Perform manual and automated testing on the System HIL rig according to the system integration test plan
  • Adhere to existing test processes and support process development to achieve the required ASPICE capability
  • Create and take ownership of a number of test specifications and their associated test cases and test reports
  • Raise issues with requirements or software defects to the Systems or Software team
  • Work cross-functionally with the Software and Electric Motor Module teams to ensure robust software and electrical hardware integration on the HIL rig
  • Communicate successfully to engineers from different domains with different experience levels

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Systems, Software, Electrical or Control Systems engineering
  • 3+ years of HIL testing experience
  • Knowledge of CAN and Flexray bus communication
  • Proficient with Vector tools – CANape, CANalyzer
  • Experience with HiL rig tools and test automation – dSPACE, Python
  • Strong Collaboration and communication Skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated team player who excels in developing solutions for complex systems

Preferable Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree or PhD
  • Knowledge of 48v power electronics
  • Experience with requirements management tools – DOORS/Jama
  • Safety critical systems experience – ISO26262
  • Cross-functional competency with detailed knowledge of more than one domain
  • Program management skills
  • Knowledge of automotive program timing
