Facilities - UK Facilities Manager
Due to our recent expansion we are looking for a Facilities Manager to manage, maintain and improve the companies facilities and Health and Safety practices. The role reports into the Director of UK Operations.
This is an office based part-time role, 30 hours a week. Our offices are located on the MIRA Technology Park therefore your own transport would be essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Day to day management of the Clearmotion offices
•Day to day manage of the equipment faults, service and inspections
•Liaison with Estate team at Horiba MIRA
•Responsible for negotiation and implementation local contracts
•Assisting in the compliance of company purchasing policy and targets
•Responsible for the Stock control and ordering of facilities items
•Responsible for the stock control and ordering of catering items
•Assist with planning and execution of office growth and office move
Health and Safety
•Responsible for the Health and Safety practices for the offices, workshops as well as at home workers.
•Ensure all Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH are up to date in the H&S systems
•Ensure all necessary staff are signed up to and remain compliant to current Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH
•Responsible for the Stock control and ordering of all PPE
•Manage the engineering fleet for MOT, DVLA and insurance purposes
•Minimum 5 years’ experience within a facilities role
•Minimum 2 years Health and Safety experience with NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
•Excellent written and verbal communicator
•Excellent negotiation skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Experience in an engineering or automotive background would be an advantage
•The ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
•Excellent time management and organisational skills
•Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task
